Port Elizabeth TVET College is a future-oriented institution with a long and storied history. Russell Road, Bethelsdorp, and Iqhayiya Technical Colleges were merged to form Port Elizabeth College (PE College) in January 2002.
We focus on developing individuals today in order to prepare them for tomorrow’s problems by providing them with the necessary practical skills to help them realize their hopes and objectives.
This supports our mission of being the preferred supplier of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programs that meet the human capital and skills development needs of a dynamic, developing nation.

Minimum entry requirements:
- A year end school report for grade 9 or higher
- An NQF level 1 qualification
- An approved bridging program designed for the specific purpose to access NQF level 2
- A recognition of prior learning assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF level 2
Admission requirements
- Only learners who wrote grade 12 in 2018 and onwards can enrol to repeat any subjects offered.
- Grade 12, Statement of results, Identity Document (ID).
