Applicants will take a placement test before submitting an application for the program of their choosing. A placement test is administered every year in September, and students must register in advance to take it.

The dates for placement exams are announced on the college’s website, in local publications, and on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). You must bring identification and proof of booking on the day of the placement test.

Applicants will take two exams on the day of the interview. A language and numeracy test (English). Each test has a 50% probability of being passed. Students will not receive their results for another 5-10 days after the test. Students must pass both exams in order to receive an application form.

 Note: If you intend to pursue any of the Engineering qualifications, you must have passed pure mathematics in the grade you passed.
